Human Pulse Oximeter
human pulse oximeter is a medical device used to measure two critical parameters: oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate. It is a non-invasive and convenient tool that provides quick and valuable information about a person’s oxygen levels and heart rate. Pulse oximeters are widely used in healthcare settings, emergency medical services, home care, and during physical activities.
Human Pulse Oximeter work based on the principle of light absorption by oxygenated and deoxygenated hemoglobin. The device emits two different wavelengths of light (usually red and infrared), which pass through the tissues and are detected by the photodetector. The ratio of absorbed light at these two wavelengths is used to calculate the SpO2 value, while the variations in the absorbed light due to blood flow provide the pulse rate measurement.
